Hi, I have a question about how to design a module so that it would fit best in the library. I find that when I'm using TeachMac myself I hardly ever read the text in the box below the video when there is video. I am wondering whether it would be best to include all necessary information in the video, but provide a summary that uses all the key words in the text so that an advanced search would turn up the module. I don't know. Does anyone have ideas?

Best,
Jeanne

IMO, no text is bad and just adding a URL that leads to your website is not much better. As the library grows, search will be more and more important and the key is a good description and using the text fields. I think a good lead-in which summarizes plus additional information is the way to go. For example "While [doing what I just showed you in the video] solves the problem for most, some may need to [more information]". The more information in the text fields, the more likely, someone is to find your module and buy it.
