I've seen videocasts where a portion of the screen is blurred to hide sensitive information. How or what are authors using to achieve this effect? Any software recommendations and/or hints are greatly appreciated.

I don't have an easy answer to this. I have been using stills when possible and just using blur tools or overlays. With video, my solution has been to create a separate login and generate fake data like email addresses. I also have portions off screen or collapse sections of a window such as the From column in mail so very little info is showing. Anyone else have suggestions?
